Education Grants for Nurses!

The UK Charity for Triple Negative Breast Cancer is delighted to be announcing a Foundation to provide grants to fund further education for individual breast cancer nurses.

This is in partnership with the RCN Foundation who will provide all the administration of the Foundation.

Part of the Royal College of Nursing Group, The RCN Foundation is an independent charity and grant-maker that is committed to supporting and strengthening nursing to improve the health and wellbeing of the public. Each year they administer over 100 education and professional development grants to nurses, midwives and healthcare support workers, and those aspiring towards a career in nursing.

Candidates will need to demonstrate that their course of study is with an accredited educational organization in the UK, that it involves Triple Negative Breast Cancer and will have a positive impact on patient care. They will need to demonstrate that the course and their objectives have been achieved. Applicants do not need to be a member of the Royal College of Nursing to be eligible for an RCN Foundation grant.

Nurses find it increasingly difficult to find funding to progress their professional development and it is intended that these grants will create TNBC enthusiasts for the rest of their nursing careers.

Applications will be open from 16 August until 5pm on 18 October. Please visit RCN Foundation Professional Bursary Scheme | RCN Foundation | Royal College of Nursing to learn more or make an application.
