The UK Charity for TNBC Becomes NICE Stakeholder

The UK Charity for Triple Negative Breast Cancer has been recently registered with NICE to be a stakeholder in two major reviews of treatment guidelines for breast cancer.

The Charity will provide input in relation to TNBC, based on patients' experience and in order to provide the ‘Voice of TNBC’ in the development of treatments for the future.

NICE has been reviewing ‘ Early and localised advanced breast cancer : diagnosis and management  - neoadjuvent chemotherapy and ovarian function suppression’, for some time and the scope was publicized in September 2024. Consultation will now follow.

A second evaluation ‘Advanced breast cancer; diagnosis and management’ has recently commenced and is just starting  the scoping phase.
